The show must go on.

The weather this week has been unbelievably annoying.  I have had to reschedule several sessions due to rain.  Rescheduling today, however, was not an option!  These kiddos and their mama are in town just for the day, and they live way down in Greenville, South Carolina!  Despite the 100% humidity and the overcast skies, the show had to go on.  Thank goodness the rain held off while we were shooting.

This little guy was one of my very first clients ever.  I haven’t seen him since he was about 6 months old, and he has changed so much!  He is three now!  (But he still has the same gorgeous eyelashes as when he was a baby.)

And look what he has now… a new sister!  :)

The other thing that hasn’t changed is his mama… she’s still as beautiful as ever (even while sweating profusely!  oh my stars it was so HOT and muggy!).

Starting the week off with a 4-month-old…

This is Raegan.  She’s the cute one in the middle with the adorable headband.  She is almost 4-months-old and wasn’t really in the mood for a photo session when I showed up at her house on Monday.  Even though she wasn’t super-duper smiley like her usual self, I am so in love with the images from her session!!  Here are some of my favorites.

She wasn’t totally digging the hat, but I think it is so stinkin’ cute!!!

Welcome to the world!

I’d like for you to meet my new buddy, Aiden.  I was really looking forward to meeting him, and apparently he was looking forward to hanging out with me, too, because he was wide awake almost the whole time I was at his house.  :)  He didn’t want to miss any of the action!  Even though it’s sometimes easier when the babies are asleep (ok, it’s always easier when they’re asleep), I really do love it when they are wide awake and can make direct eye contact with the camera.  Some babies are better at that than others, and Aiden was a pro!  He is such a handsome little guy!

The future Mr. & Mrs…

This gorgeous couple is getting married in November at the Stones River Country Club, and I can’t wait!  We did their engagement session tonight in downtown Franklin.  (By the way, how come no one told me about the Bluegrass Along the Harpeth festival that was also in downtown Franklin tonight?  There were people everywhere!)  Congratulations, A & C!  I’m looking forward to the big day!

Art Avenue Lofts – Architectural Photography in downtown Nashville.

Take a look at a project that I worked on for b3studio, inc.  They are the architects of some really fabulous lofts downtown on 5th Ave.  If I were young and cool and single and had no kids, I would totally want to live here (I’m none of those, by the way).   The bottom floor is home to the art gallery, and the upper floors are residential condos.
