And the Coolest Nursery Award goes to…

I met a new sweet little girl today.  She is exactly three-months-old, and she lives in Franklin.  Now, I get to see a lot of nurseries.  A lot.  But this gal’s room… it rocked!  She has animal print bedding, photographs hanging from the Bronx zoo, and stuffed animals galore.  Check out the animal over mom’s shoulder in the first image.  Can you guess what it is?  It’s a lemur.  Yeah.  A lemur!  Stuffed teddy bears are OUT… stuffed lemurs are IN!!!  :)

Family sessions from this weekend.

I am a little behind in my blog posts, so I’m going to lump the last three sessions into one entry!  The first set is from Saturday morning.  It was so sweltering hot when we started at 9:00 a.m. that I’m going to have to switch to sunrise sessions if this heat continues.  (I’m only half joking.)  It’s always nice when I’m working with old friends (not that they’re old, because they’re my age, so let’s change that to young friends).  I met this couple in our first Bible Study class when we moved to Nashville several years ago.  Eighteen months ago, they had the cutest little boy, and I have loved watching him grow over the past year and a half!

This next series is from Friday night, and I have to say, I LOVE evening light in the summer!   These kids were a blast, and they didn’t even seem to mind that we were getting eaten alive by mosquitoes.  (I am so NOT joking.  It was bad.  But I’ll take mosquitoes any day as long as I can have yummy sunlight and a gorgeous family like this.)

And finally… from Friday morning… two of the sweetest little brothers.  The older one cracked me up with his laugh, and the little one was just too cute for words!  ct2

A fun collage program!

I found this really fun (and FREE!) program to make collages in all different shapes.  In a matter of minutes, I created a rectangle collage from all of photos I took last weekend in Chattanooga.  You can download the program here.

Happy Father’s Day!

I couldn’t find a better image to post for Father’s Day than the one that I took of my husband and two kids walking in downtown Chattanooga this weekend.  Hope all of the daddies have a great day!

Sizzling summer sessions.

I want to thank all of the families this week for enduring the heat wave with me!  The stickiness has almost been unbearable at times.  I’m going to go on record and predict a mild, breezy August.  (Wouldn’t that be great!?)  Here’s a glimpse from my session this morning with a really cool 13-year-old and his parents:
