Commercial photography.

I recently got the opportunity to photograph a couple of new projects for the guys at Southland Constructors.  One was the new Spring Hill campus of The People’s Church.  They have transformed the inside of an old Kroger into an absolutely beautiful facility with state of the art technology.  Not only is the worship center gorgeous, they also have a children’s area and student auditorium that are equally as cool!

The second project was the new gymnasium on the lower campus of Ensworth.  Let me just say, I might have been a little more excited about P.E. class when I was in grade school if my gym had looked like this.

Snow cone season.

Over the course of the next two months, I will be spending lots of time at the ballpark.  I love hearing the ping of the bat and then watching 6-year-olds scramble for the ball.  And I especially love the cute uniforms (even though I can never pick my own child out on the field because they all look alike!).

Eden, age 8 months.

Baby Eden is growing up super fast.  It seems like just last week I was doing her newborn session.  Eden met me downtown on Sunday night along with her fabulous family.  It was WINDY, but thank goodness none of the girls blew away (and I only lost one lens cap in the process – I have a hard enough time keeping track of those doggone things when it’s not windy!)!

Sabrina, age 18 months.

My rock-star niece is 18-months-old already!  We met at Ellington on Saturday morning to take a few pictures.  Actually, anytime I get around her I can’t help but take pictures.  Poor girl barely knows what Aunt Jadie’s face looks like because she always sees a camera in front of it!  :)

I felt like every time I turned around on Saturday, my brother had his sunglasses on.  I kept politely asking him to “Please remove your sunglasses, thank you.” (Or maybe I was barking “TAKE THOSE THINGS OFF”… I can’t remember exactly.)  Anyway, for the next shot, I let him keep the glasses on.  I love this image of the two of them!  :)

Sophie, age 2.

This beautiful little girl is turning two, and her daddy and grandaddy built her the sweetest car for her birthday.  She is going to be the talk of her neighborhood for sure once she starts pedaling it down the street!
