Four people twelve times \ \ February

Well, just in the nick of time… our February picture!  It almost didn’t happen, but I knew I couldn’t give this project up after just one month!  February almost got away from me.  The month can be summed up in two words:  Snow & Sickness.  I am absolutely ready for March!

Mary Brooks, age 4 months.

It always amazes me how much babies change in the first four months.  When I last saw Mary Brooks, she was just a tiny baby who did nothing but eat, sleep, and require diaper changes.  :)  Even though I adore that precious newborn stage, it’s so rewarding when they get a little older and can interact with people!  This sweet girl can now give the biggest smiles!  She can also babble on and on about her brother, and she can study her left hand like it’s the most fascinating object she’s ever seen.  :)  I’m looking forward to seeing her again soon!

Christian recording artist.

I have to say that as much as I love photographing children, it’s awfully fun when I get to hang out with a grown-up!  :)  Shelly is a super-talented, super-gorgeous, super-sweet friend who leads worship services at my church.  She needed some updated headshots for work, so we got together in Franklin yesterday and took these pictures just before it started raining.  You can read more about her and listen to her incredible voice on her website!

Elle, age 3 months.

I met a new little friend today!  Elle is one of the smiliest 3-month-olds I know, and she has such a fun personality!  She did a great job while we were changing her outfits, moving her from the chair to the couch to the basket, and generally disrupting her regular routine.  She got a little worn out about halfway through, but after a quick 5-minute power nap, she was able to rally and come back for more!

Luke, age 4 months.

Luke has grown so much since his newborn session four months ago!  He spends his days rolling everywhere, making the cutest baby noises, and concentrating very hard on the objects in his exersaucer.  :)
