So, this was the LAST time that my family had to trek to the backyard with my camera. We are officially finished with this project!!! I love that we kept it going all year long, and I am thrilled that I now have several pictures of just the four of us to use for our annual photo book. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! See you in 2012!

Get ready for some serious cuteness… Isaac and Eleanor are on the blog!

Isaac & Eleanor’s mom and dad spent a good chunk of the year building a beautiful new home and decorating the interior perfectly to match my taste (seriously, I could move right in, but they might not like that too much). Their mom (who also happens to be a talented photographer) knew she wanted to incorporate the house into our photo session somehow, and I loved her idea of snacking on cookies and milk in their new kitchen and then snuggling with a Christmas book!

I loved working with this family today! Christopher and Lauren are 8-year-old twins. They may be two of the most beautiful, photogenic children that I’ve ever photographed, and the way the interact with each other reminds me so much of my own 7 and 8-year-old! This was such a fun session for me to do (even though I felt like my extremities were frozen by the time we were finished… it was in the 30′s and soooo cold)!

I had to include these last three, because the look on Christopher’s face cracks me up! :)

Look who just turned ONE! Elle is as cute as a button, and I had such a fun time with her this morning!

I am thankful for sunny days in December and for sweet 18-month-olds who like to keep me on my toes! :) Mary Drew was a very busy little girl yesterday… no time to sit still! :)
