The Sapp Family.

These folks were all very bright and summery and beautiful this morning in their red, white, and blue, but there’s just something about seeing them interact in the black & white images that gives it more “feeling.”   I loved how Mom & Dad laughed and giggled with their kids, and I particularly loved how Mom was willing to jump up and down and yell out bathroom words at the top of her lungs to keep her son’s attention.  :)  Good manners frequently go out the window during photo sessions, which can make for a very entertaining morning!  :)  Thank you for letting me photograph your sweet family!

Camille & Daniel.

I was the second shooter for my awesome photographer friend, Laurie, again on Saturday!  I met up with her at Centennial Park before the ceremony, and just before we helped the bride out of her limo, my friend leaned over and whispered, “Wait until you see her… she’s beautiful.”  Uh, more like STUNNING!!!

This bridal party was so much fun!  They each got so good at the routine – take a picture, dab sweat off of your forehead, take a picture, dab sweat off of your forehead…  :)

Seriously, girls.  The hair, the makeup, the dresses, the smiles… you all are gorgeous!!!

Okay, okay, I could show off pictures of the ladies all day, but I’m afraid the guys might feel left out.  Just one more and then we’ll move on.

Meet the handsome (and very, very tall) groom.

The groomsmen were a riot.  I didn’t stick around for the reception, but I imagine it was pretty entertaining to watch these guys.

I love the way Camille glanced at her dad as they started down the aisle.

And I absolutely adore the way she gazed at Daniel during the ceremony.

Congratulations to you both!

Mary Drew, age 6 weeks.

Mary Drew is a sweet little girl who is lucky to have a beautiful mama and a super fun big brother (who would only be still for pictures if I promised to pick him up and spin him in a circle afterwards… I’ve never left a session quite so dizzy!!!).  :)  Here are a few images from this morning!

“What?  You mean we’re keeping her?”  Love her brother’s facial expression here.

Wine & Swine 2010

Great music, tasty treats, and lots of wine… they had it all at the Belle Meade Plantation last night to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis.  It was a fabulous party to support a wonderful cause, and I was honored to capture the event!

Bristol is here!

It has been such a privilege to watch this family respond to God’s call over the past several months.  About two weeks ago, they finally brought home their beautiful baby girl from Ethiopia who we have all waited over a year to meet!  Next on their list is moving their whole family (yep – all four… count ‘em, FOUR – kiddos) to Cape Town, South Africa, where they will be serving as missionaries for at least the next twelve months.  It is certainly going to be an adjustment for everyone, including all of the couples in our Bible Study class who are going to miss seeing their smiling faces every week!  Please remember this family over the next several months as they head off for the amazing adventure that God has called them to!

Back to the grind.

I always hate it when vacation is over, but we had a fabulous time last week in Florida!  Here are a few shots of my family at Blue Mountain Beach.  This is my 7-year-old, Torin, splashing in the ocean.  She picked out a nice purple beach house that she wants… let’s hope she marries well.

This is my 6-year-old son, Parker.  He likes to show off his big strong muscles on the beach.  He spent the week collecting seashells and eating all of the junk food in our condo.

Another picture of Torin… I erased the piece of seaweed on her cheek but I kept the sand on her chin.  Let’s just say she has been well exfoliated.

Parker hanging out at the Sugar Shak in Rosemary Beach.

My brother and sister-in-law and their 10-month-old, Sabrina.

My husband and my daughter.

And finally… me!
