If anyone out there is still reading the blog over New Year’s… I need ideas! School doesn’t start back until Tuesday (that’s 5 days and 17 hours) and I’ve got to think of places to take these kids before they drive me stir crazy in the house. Mama desperately needed some quiet today, and I figured the library might be the only place I could get it. Here are a few pictures of my 4-year-old and almost-6-year-old. They love the downtown library!
Baby Aaron was a sweet little ending to an incredible year. I love being able to capture the excitement and joy that newborns bring. To all of you new parents who allow me in your homes and trust me with your precious babies – thank you!!! See you all back on the blog in ’09!
This little guy was not due until late January, so it was an unexpected treat when his mom called two days ago and said “the baby came early!” It’s difficult to tell from the pictures, but my boy here is tiny. Like less-than-5-pounds-tiny. And believe it or not, he was awake for the entire two hours that I was with him. Yeah – it looks like he’s sleeping because his eyes are closed, but trust me, he’s just teasing. :) I loved every minute with him, though. Merry Christmas, Baby Henry.

I don’t think this will actually be my last session of the year, but it will definitely be my last session before Christmas! I love, love, love photographing this 9-month-old with the killer blue eyes! And I LOVE getting to shoot on her huge farm down in Franklin (even though I do have to watch out for the cow piles). :)

Both of these little guys are turning one this month. They aren’t related, but they are very good friends! Their sessions were back-to-back on Saturday. I really do love this age. One-year-olds are so fun and so curious, and they haven’t hit the terrible temper tantrum stage yet! :)
