Welcome

Thank you for visiting the blog! I am now scheduling sessions through the end of May. If you would like to make an appointment, please check my calendar (listed under "links") and check for open dates. Then give me a call or email me to book your session!

Attention newborn clients: if you are interested in a newborn session, please reserve your spot during your pregnancy. Newborns photograph best within the first 10 days of life, so all newborn sessions are booked 5-10 days past the baby’s due date. The date is then adjusted if needed after the baby is born. Thank you!

Monday’s 3-year-old.

Three-year-olds are awesome.  They hold nothing back.  They have no secrets.  And they make the most hilarious faces.  This beautiful girl is moving to Brazil with her parents next week, so we had to squeeze her photo session in asap.  Thank goodness we had gorgeous weather on Monday!

After photographing her beautiful smile and her pretty looks, my goal was to truly capture this little girl’s personality at the age of three.  This girl has got some spunk!  :)  I love how she showed some attitude!

Parker, age 15 months.

Spring is in the air!  I know this because: (a) the sun has been out for two consecutive days, (b) the sky is clear and beautiful, and (c) my nose is running like a faucet, which means that things are starting to bloom!  I am so anxious to get back to my outdoor sessions!  This morning was great – a little on the chilly side, but 15-month-olds never seem to notice because they’re way to busy.  Busy running.  Busy pointing at things.  Busy yelling out words that I rarely can understand.  Busy falling on the ground and getting dirty.  And this little guy was no exception.  Thank goodness his dad was a master bubble blower!  He loooooved the bubbles!  :)

I love this face.  He’s saying “Ms. Jadie, did you actually expect me to sit STILL on the hay bale?”  He wiggled off in about 2.4 seconds!  :)

Wonderfully made…

Meet Anna Elizabeth.  This is what five pounds of perfection looks like.  Ten tiny fingers, ten tiny toes, and healthy in every way.  Each newborn session is special to me because it’s like getting to capture a tiny miracle with my camera.  But this one was was extra meaningful, because I have personally prayed over this child many times before she was even born.  I am so thrilled that she is finally here and is absolutely beautiful!

Some recent commercial work.

I have been busy this week working on a few construction projects.  First up… a really gorgeous new office building in Cool Springs.

This building will ultimately be a science lab, but in the meantime, my kids would LOVE to roller skate in here!

Some apartments downtown on Jefferson Street…

None of my apartments ever looked this cool.

Yikes.  In the mirror.  Dork alert!  :)

Thursday’s newborn.

I met the cutest little girl today with the cutest little name.

Her name is Ryman.  Don’t you just LOVE it?  I know I do!!!  And guess what kind of posters are hanging in Ryman’s nursery…

Ryman loves her mama.  :)

And her mama is pretty taken with her, too…

And Daddy?  Well, you know quickly little girls can wrap daddies around their fingers.

Yep!  Daddy is in love.  :)  Thank you to this beautiful new family for welcoming me into your home today!

Kate is 4-months-old!

I spent Thursday morning in Lebanon with the sweetest little 4-month-old!  You’ll remember Baby Kate from the blog back in October… she had the nursery that everybody LOOOVED!!!  She is doing all kinds of cool stuff now like grabbing her feet and pushing up on her elbows.  :)  And of course I had to get another shot of her in the awesome room!
